Frequently Asked Questions

What do I do if I have an emergency?
If at any time you need emergency services for an ill or injured pet, please phone 925-828-0455. If our office is closed, you will be referred to a local veterinary emergency hospital.

What are your office hours?
Our office hours are Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM and 
Saturday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 noon.

Do I need an appointment?
Yes, please make appointments in advance whenever possible. Our veterinarians and staff make every effort to adhere to our appointment schedule, although emergencies and unforeseen delays do occur from time to time.

When should I immunize my puppy or kitten?
Puppies and kittens should be started on their immunization series no later than 8 weeks of age.

How can I check on an animal who is hospitalized?
If you wish to contact the hospital regarding a pet that is hospitalized, please call after 10:00 AM and before 4:30 PM.  If there is any change in the condition of a hospitalized pet, a staff member will contact you immediately.
